<p>I want to be the people who goes to different countries to study animals, like in Discovery Channel or any animal documentaries. Will a zoology major get me there? If not then what is the path that I need to take?</p>
<p>A zoology degree would be a good start. You will likely need to choose a family of animals to study and find a mentor who studies apes, fish, birds, etc. You will need at least a master’s degree to pursue this career as a researcher. Other career paths would include working for a non-profit organization that protects biodiversity. If you really want to be a TV presenter on Discovery channel, you may want to get some “broadcast communication” credentials in college. </p>
<p>I just want to study animals like the people on Discovery Channel. Going on TV doesn’t really matter, but thank you.</p>
