Which would you recommend for a Journalism or Writing major?
<p>Ithaca has a communications semester in LA, but I'm not sure how useful that is for writing/print journalism.</p>
<p>Fordham is probably more widely known, but Ithaca's communications school is nothing to sneeze at.</p>
<p>NYC or Ithaca?</p>
<p>I am interested in opinions about the programs, not the cities.</p>
<p>Ithaca supposedly has an excellent communications program.. Fordham's communications program is also very good. Fordham is more widely recognized and NYC has all of the journalism resources you'll ever need. I'm in a similar situation- I'm deciding between Fordham and Northeastern. Fordham is in the greatest city in the world but Northeastern has the excellent co-op program.. so many decisions..</p>
<p>So yeah.. I would go with fordham. Ithaca's program is excellent, but Fordham's location gives you everything you'll need. I'm also a journalism major.. good luck.</p>
