<p>Some guy in my AP Chem has 3.0 GPA and under 2000 SAT... he almost failed AP chem...</p>
<p>He doesn't do any sports... he does band... nothing impressive at all...</p>
<p>He's like 87.5 % Native American...</p>

<p>He got accepted into STANFORD and YALE</p>
<p>..... my friends and I laughed out loud... and cussed at this guy</p>

<p>Affirmative action is a legitimate policy. But I strongly believe that it should be based on income not on ethnicity.</p>
<p>My boyfriend is Native American. 3.5 uw GPA, 25 ACT and no ECs. Got into NYU. I have the same GPA and I would sever my leg to go to NYU, but I'm 100% Norwegian so it probably won't happen.</p>

<p>if you consider "legitimate" cheating poor white kids out of admissions who are just as qualified, if not more so than wealthy native americans, as is the case in my area</p>

<p>lol, what about mestizos that are part native american (as in like america the coninent, as in like aztec/mayan/incan).... do they get brownie points? like, can they circle hispanic,white, n native american, since they're all three? (esp them in the southwestern US...)</p>
