It's there anything I can do...?

I got waitlisted, but haven’t heard from the admissions. The admissions told me that they had selected a small number of students from the waiting list and at this time it is unclear whether they will have to go deeper in to the waiting list.

I really wanna be admitted. Amherst seems to be the perfect place for me and I think I’m qualified. Btw, I am an international.

What can I do to increase my chances? I need your advices. Anything would be appreciated!

Well, there are all the usual stuff: send in extra materials such as testimonials, additional test scores, activities and awards, while making sure they are substantial, and not just fluff that makes yourself feel good.

But at this time, so late in the game, I don't think there's much you can do. Got a favorite religion?

Thanks, Nadash.

I have a preference for Buddhism, but I'm not a Buddhist myself. Does that matter?

haha, I think Nadash means you should start praying...

I guess I'd better not. In Buddhism it is believed that man should not have desire in order to reach ultimate enlightenment and peace.

I hope Jesus could hear me. lol

You could get your guidance counselor to call in.

You could get Jesus to call in.

At this stage in the game, I don't think even Jesus has a say.

lol... don't underestimate the powers of the divine... :P
