It seems no one knows answers to these questions - only interested in who gets admitted and their stats.
In 2019 Kelley had 1,973 students that were DA. Largest ever. The students don’t have to live together but if you can get into the Jellison LLC, the living learning center for Kelley students, I would recommend it. Like minded business students and a very good atmosphere. My son was a 2018 Kelley graduate and initially resisted are advice to apply to the LLC. We still had him apply and he was accepted. He said from an academic standpoint it was one of the best things that he did at IU. He got a 3.7 GPA his first semester and never looked back.
Anyone else trying to decide between a big school like Kelley and a small school like Richmond, all without visiting?
Anyone know my chance of getting in through petition? I submitted after the priority date but have a 3.77 and no test scores.
Based on the past, your chances are good. We asked and IU said that they got a lot more petitions this year than usual, but that meant it will take longer to get to those who missed the priority deadline, but doesn’t mean chances are poor. (My D made the GPA (barely), missed the SAT.) Fingers crossed.
Does anyone know if they will do more Direct Admit Days? I sadly missed the reservation deadline because I completely forgot.
So how long does it take to get a response for a petition? Submitted on February 22nd and hoping to hear before April
Right there with you Brdy. My son hasn’t heard anything yet either.
Sent in petition 1/12! So, who knows…
Can live with a rejection, but can’t understand what’s taking so long
Has anyone heard anything? I’m not sure waiting until mid-April is going to work for us. Has anyone tried reaching out to Kelley and, if so, what have they said? So frustrating because my S was a DA for Arts and Sciences and changed his major. Apparently, that’s just not something you’re allowed to do without serious consequences.
Hey everyone waiting for a decision on their petition. I just emailed Kelley and they are working through 4000 petitions and it’s only as space is available. I don’t see any petition at this point being likely. They are also firm in their April 12th date to inform everyone.
Applied on 2/23, just got an email saying I got in!
Edit: it wasn’t like a congrats email which was kind of odd. It said “next steps for kelley direct admit students”
Edit: I just got an email saying congrats
I submitted mine on 2/22 so hopefully will hear back soon.
Has anyone else hear back
Does anyone remember the approximate class size for Kelley 2025? Or what it was for 2024?
There are usually +/- 2,000 students per year in Kelley about 8,000 total.
Petition accepted. Submitted like 1/11 or something. GPA 3.58W and 34 ACT
I didn’t get in through petition does anyone know how standard admission works or know anyone with experience.
Check out the IU website. Basically, you need a 3.5 GPA with no grade below B- in your Freshman year to get into Kelley
Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone else is still waiting for a response to their petition from Kelley @IU… (this applies to those who petitioned after the priority deadline, like myself) Any comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.
