<p>no you don't....infact....u seem quite 'vigilant' to have applied to IUB being in 'the land' as they call it.....well done....so u are going to bremen right?</p>

<p>Oh I like that word vigilant.. they call the US "the land"? Thats weird... idk I am just concerned bc I am pretty conservative and if you saw on the IUB forum when I asked about it I was told I would pretty much be hated... </p>

<p>And I am definately going to Bremen.. I am so excited I can't think strait.</p>

<p>I guess we will meet this fall then.....</p>

<p>when are they going to release my fin aid package after all??...I am tired of waiting....</p>

<p>does anyone have a clue about the acceptance percentage of IUB?</p>

<p>yay.. i am applying for the third round for iub...yay again.</p>

<p>So IUB is getting more and more popular by the day then.....</p>

<p>there is nothing called cut-off percentages at IUB..</p>

<p>or Jacobs University Bremen now</p>

<p>my first post got posted later and the second post first.. weird!</p>

<p>I'm sorrry but i dont have any idea. I guess it depends on teh major and varies. A little difficult to generallize.</p>

<p>Orhan Pamuk:
"Don't worry; i can bet that i am much more conservative than you."</p>

<p>For real... if you don't mind me asking, what are your political opinions? Also does anyone know the differences between an american conservative and a European conservative because I was told they were different..</p>

<p>And actually I guess right now I am kind of going through a transistion because my friend just came out.. and I have been talking with a thelogy major about some flaws in the Christian religion....idk... I would like to go into this with an open mind but I will probably still be a Christian. </p>

<p>As far as admission stats I have no idea... and I am excited to meet all of you next year.. and finally be back in a place with SNOW!! yahoo!!!</p>

<p>ice_sickle007: I guess I m much more conservative than u r...</p>

<p>Well I am glad to hear this because the idea of being universally hated for what I believe in didn't sound fun!</p>

<p>what does 5000 euros loan mean?? is it good or bad?</p>

<p>I got 7.5Keuro loan for 1st year and have to pay 1Keuro for that year + extra expense. :)</p>

<p>i got in on the 2nd round and i am wondering what some of the people who got accepted stats are? and what is the average act score?</p>

<p>I don't know what the average ACT is but I got a 31 and I got a 10k scholarship.. my stats are on like page two or something..</p>

<p>Orhan Pamuk:
"I am going to college to just have some free time- I am far more intelligent than most of my would-be classmates."
Wow.. okay... I can't make that declaration but I would consider more deep than most people my age..
"I am against projecting all societies as equal and as equally "valid". I believe in Superiority of Western Society over Eastern Societies and of Eastern religions over Western one."
I somewhat agree with you but about the religion just because Eastern religions seem more intellectual and as a participant in a Western religion there is way to much hypocrisy but I think at the base regilions they are all very similar, or at least the message is similar, it is just the way that they are practiced that conflicts..
As far as Western society being superior pretty much agree but that is only because I don't believe that communism or any type of socialism works as well as a democracy and theocracy seem to breed violence.
"I am a man whose lack of ideological encumbrance gives him a clarity and an independence of thought denied to inferior mortals"
Are you actually comparing yourself to a God here? I don't think I could make that assertion because I tend to stick with Einstein that the more knowledge I gain the more I realize how little I know.
So what is your stance on the war in Iraq?</p>
