IUB Bremen anyone?

me too...ice_sickle007...where r u from btw???

I seriously hope that kind of 'catastrophe' (the brown and IUB one) doesn't repeat many a time...not in Round 1 this year for God sake.....

I actually have an alternative explanation... it is possible that negru's application was so strong that IUB decided there was no chance of his enrolling at IUB and so rejected him. Some US colleges too supposedly reject super-qualified applicants, presumably to boost their rankings.

Btw, this is just a conjecture, I have no evidence whatsoever, so IUB students do not get mad at me. :)

Come on...does that kind of thing ever happen!!??....at least I don't see such things happening....if yes...good for me...coz I am sure I am not one of those unlucky "super applicants'....not with some dismal scores...

I am from USA! Round 1 too.. but I need scholarships.. (at least 10k a year) or I have to go to my dads alma mater.. it kind of sucks.

Yeah I don't really think the over qualification thing happens.. Or it least it hasn't happened to anyone I have ever met...
Plus if they have someone with a perfect score at IUB what did that kid do to be overqualified?

negru is Romanian; there are around 80 Romanians at IUB. Just 26 Nepalese and 17 Americans. There's no Argie yet, I should apply hehe.

hum... 80 Romainians...How many Germans? Does that mean my chances are better as a US citizen?

No offense here please but my German soccer coach said it would be better to find an English program in Southern Germany.. he said it was less boring. (once again no offense).. Is this true???

i have heard this kinda speculations abt super applicant. they might be true.

26 Nepalese huh!!! that's pretty cool number....seems like Bremen ppl like Nepal a lot then....

I was telling u Shail. Anyway, I don't think i'll apply to IUB now since the number of Nepalese applicants are increasing day by day.

are there any other applicantsfrom Bnks to IUB Shail

yes there are...except me 2 others for round 1....for other rounds I presume many ......

IUB has been a happy hunting ground for BNKS students in previous year I suppose....

Hum... I don't know anyone else who is applying for IUB... hum...

IUB (JUB) == 3 years (B.S)
US Education Syste == 4 years (B.S)

Does this hamper in higher studies in US after studying in IUB ?

No(10 char)

I know a lot of romanians who went to IUB and than to top grad schools in the US

ya no(7 char)

"No(10 char)"
"ya no(7 char)"

I am probably being obtuse here, but what do 10 char and 7 char mean??

^^ type "No" and then try to click post. u'll know
