<p>i know i've asked this before but it's because i still don't get it. when i log on to studentcentral and go to my account detail, my bill has my meal plan, flex dollars and a bunch of housing stuff. and when i go to "pay your bill" it says i owe like 4000 dollars which is obvious because i need to pay for my food and housing. this part is all good, but my question is, when do i pay for tuition? someone told me before that i'm suppose to receive a big bill with every payment inside, but i haven't gotten it yet (has anyone received it already?i live outside us so...). according to this site (<a href="http://www.unc.edu/finance/fd/c/sa/docs/2009_fall_dates.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.unc.edu/finance/fd/c/sa/docs/2009_fall_dates.pdf</a>), bills are sent on 6th of july (i registered in the timespace they mentioned), and they're due 6th of august...which seems quite near. should i contact the office and tell them i haven't gotten my bill yet? i really don't want to be late with any fees (and maybe not be allowed to go to school or something)</p>
<p>and by the way summer reading...we're suppose to buy the book ourselves right?</p>
<p>Yes, you’re supposed to buy the summer reading book yourself. I can’t tell you about the bill - my daughter just went to orientation this week, so our bill isn’t due until Aug 18, I think. (And if you go to orientation next week, your bill isn’t due until October I think - seems strange, doesn’t it?)</p>
<p>If you are out of the country, are you going to the August CTOPS? If so, that makes your bill due much later… perhaps the same Oct 1 mentioned by HoCoMom.</p>
<p>oh so youre not gonna get your bill until you’re actually in orientation??? so if you sign up for a lot of classes they might charge more or something?? i’m going to the august session so i’m guessing my bill is due even later than the date hocomom mentioned (since actual orientation only starts on the 20th of august)?</p>

<p>When is tuition due?
New students are billed for fall semester depending on when they attend CTOPS and register for their fall classes. </p>
<p>New students who register for courses by June 23 will be billed on June 23 with payment due August 4, 2006. </p>
<p>New students who register between June 24 and July 28 will be billed on July 28, and payment is due August 22, 2006. </p>
<p>New students who register after July 28 will be billed on September 8 and payment is due October 6, 2006. </p>
<p>This University bill will include tuition, fees, meal plan and University housing if applicable (Granville Towers is not University housing).</p>
