<p>I am finally old enough to get a summer job. The applications are pretty basic, except they ask for three references. Are they looking for neighbors and family friends?</p>
<p>Teachers, coaches, NOT PARENTS, family friends etc. They want to see that others outside of your family will vouch for your personality and dependability.</p>
<p>Don’t worry though, they pretty much never call.</p>
<p>Yea, that’s what I usually put down. Make sure that’s ok though. They might want people from school (teachers, counselors, etc.).</p>
