Wow. Think you got a good shot.

Looks like you're on the right track... Looks like you should take your SAT IIs in Math IIc, Physics or Chem, and any humanities subject. Do you have any passions? One of those would help greatly.

Hmph! Math/physics crazies... taking calculus 5-6, etc... sorry, lol! I'm more of a natural science oriented person, I've only taken up to calculus 2, and I doubt I'll go any higher... I might take differential equations in college... but I doubt it. Math/Physics buffs at my school laugh at me for not knowing multi-variable calculus, and I laugh at them for knowing crap about protein expression vectors and systems (Lactose is better than IPTG!!!).

Just curious, do you go to school in Montgomery county? If so, which school?

You're def. on the right track to getting admittance into most, if not all, the ivys. Just do a bang up job on the stand. tests and maintain your grades. For you, I'd def. suggest math Ic and IIc; with math stats like those, you should have no problem, upon a bit of review, with the tests. Definetly get a humanities SAT II in, though. Possibly world/US history? For the ivys, I'd suggest 3-4 SAT II grades in the 700+ range (looking at your stats, I think you should take math Ic, math IIc, chemistry, and some history).

"took calculus 3, differential equations, and linear algebra at my local community college and got A’s in all of them."

That's pretty insane. I'd suggest you keep up and do more math, like you planned, next summer, and declare math as your major when applying. Colleges will def. be WOWed by your stats since your taking such college courses. By the way, I don't know anyone who is that advanced in math at your age, let alone high school; you should be really proud of yourself.

I'd be glad to help you out, even more, if you'd like. My AOL IM is RamJag88 and e-mail is RamJag@gmail.com. I'm a rising senior, currently. Good luck with all your future efforts!

"Just curious, do you go to school in Montgomery county? If so, which school?"

Bethesda Chevy Chase High School (Montgomery County indeed)

Thank you very much for the feedback.

Thats crazy! I'm graduating in the same class as you are as an early graduate and I don't want you as a rival for the ivies. sigh

You're on a great track though, the math thing is really impressive. I forgot how smart people are here at CC.

hmm...i dunno....

You have a good chance of getting into some.

would it be to my advantage to apply early decision...i dont really know how that works too well. Are acceptance rates higher ed?

bump

thanks
