WHAT IS GOING ON?!

Looks like they started calling recipients of the College Scholarship yesterday. I have to imagine all decisions were made. The wait intensifies.

Wait what? How do u know

@skaday check out the JKCF twitter and the JKC College Scholarship sub-forum on the “other-scholarships” forum in this site.

Haha I literally posted that two days ago. They started calling on Tuesday.

er, never mind. sorry. wasted post. continue as you please.

Has anyone heard anything yet?

The anticipation is driving me crazy! Lol @-)

sitting in spanish waiting for my phone to ring/inbox. -___-

85 students were selected for the JCK college scholarship and the they usually pick 30-40 students…they selected wayyyyyy more than usual hopefully more than 85 undergraduate transfer scholarship get selected

let’s hope!

hope so too… I know last year the JKCF selected 90 undergraduate transfer students instead of 85 …i guess it was hard to only select 30-40 students.

I hope this year they select more than 90 transfer students!!!

I hope so too @mifit .

did anyone hear back from their reach schools? (if any) I got offered a $10k for Baylor as a transfer. Which ya know, helps with the $40k or so…
As per the app, just curious as to where you all would go if finance wasn’t an issue based on acceptances.
It’s University of Arizona (in state) if JKC falls through for this dude.

I just got an email that said CFANS transfer scholarship award, thought my dyslexia had kicked in and almost had a brain aneurysm

@dvdgtrz I’m not sure if any of mine counted as reach schools but I was accepted to all of them. University of Minnesota twin cites had the hardest acceptance rate at 44%, Michigan Tech was an easy acceptance but the most expensive and Northern Arizona University (also in state for me) will let anyone in and my tuition is already covered by financial aid.

There are not very many options for forestry schools. I wanted to apply to UC Berkeley originally but their application deadline had passed while I was doing this application so I was a little irked. I happened to check back later and their website said they had extended the app deadline for transfer students by a month, which I had missed again, and I had already turned in the JKC app too. 喝畜生雜交的髒貨.

Today is the day. Who will hear?

@ForestryGuy – I wish you could’ve applied for Cal (UC Berkeley)! Seriously such an amazing school.
