@nuvemseis Congrats to your son! What grade is he in?
he is a junior in high school
ops, and thank you
@nuvemseis Congrats on your son being accepted! Would you mind answering what lab (or general topic) he will be working in? Also does he have prior research experience?
Genomic Lab, and yes he did some research last summer
@nuvemseis Congrats! Would you mind telling us when you guys were notified and if you guys are from Maine?
@MLSPACMPH did you ever hear back from them about when results would be out?
@JohnyFromChicago I haven’t heard anything back yet…I’m still trying to remain optimistic though…congrats to your son!!! @nuvemseis
Still don’t know!! I wish they would just release all of them at once this waiting is killing me!
@amyli192 … we received the e-mail today around 10 AM. I received one also, and no we don’t live in Maine. We are from California. @JohnyFromChicago I read a lot today about it, and it seems that they will send a rejection letter if you are not accepted. If you didn’t receive it, you are in the game.
Does anyone know when they will stop sending out letters?
Just got a rejection letter -
rejection received as well
@ecarrillo95 based on past threads, it seems that some people had to wait until mid April. You might even have to contact them to find out your status
Still nothing 8-|
For those who received a letter already, did it specify how many they chose out of how many applicants? Thanks
They said that they chose 42 for the Bar Harbor campus and 13 for Connecticut out of 946 total
Does anyone have a phone number that we can call to check the status of our application? Haha I would be sad if I didn’t get in but the wait is agonizing
^I was wondering that as well
Try 207-288-6806 Michael or 207-288-6272 Traci. Word of caution - not sure if they like direct contact.
