Jan 1st deadline. EST or PST?

i submitted my app 12:38 EST
but its ok because:
Colleges understand that there is a time zone difference and they take that into consideration. The difference in the time zones will not affect your application. </p>

<p>No, there is a designated box for these applications. I work at Harvard. It's called the "NO CHANCE IN HELL" bin. I would start considering community college now -- or at least checking out some library books on being a mechanic.</p>

<p>you know, the princeton website doesn't specifically state whether the 1/1 deadline is EST or PST...so i'm guessing it's dependent on where you live. so i guess you're safe so long as the college you're applying to doesn't state specifically (like uchicago).</p>

and thats JHU</p>

<p>Cornell only downloaded my app
and
NU hasn't downloaded anything</p>

<p>I sent my app in at 12:38 EST but 9:38 PST
What should I do?
am I screwed or should I contact the college and tell them my situation?</p>

<p>If it says 'downloaded' in the common app Checklist page does that mean I didn't submit my apps too late?</p>
