Are any fellow CCers auditioning this weekend? D and I will be there! We will be arriving in DC around 10am Friday, so we should get to Winchester by noon. That will be time enough to get a feel for the town and explore a bit. I am hoping for nice weather.

We’ll be there. We’ll be arriving late on Friday though. I’ll be in a large light green coat and my daughter is a brunette in a cranberry/maroon leotard. She’s about 5’6" and so am I. Look for us.

HEY! The D and I will be there! We need a pin or secret handshake! LOL

Hey, frazzled, is the weather not nice in FL? I’m thinking DC, especially Winchester will not top your weather!

The weather has been all over the place-rainy, warm, cold…ish. I know we won’t garner any sympathy! I actually love the seasons-even winter! I just want to be able to drive in it…and explore the town. As for a secret pin or handshake…you can identify me by my ever present kindle. We are staying at the George Washington Inn. D and I are both short blondes (I wear glasses). She will probably have on a greyish tweed coat-I don’t know what I am wearing yet. I should get a name tag that says “Hi! I’m Frazzled”!

Frazzled, I live in the DC area and depending on traffic it will take around 1.5-2 hours to get to Shenandoah. Unless there is some huge traffic jam in the NOVA area you should be fine with your travel time.

LOLOL@ frazzled. Your name tag would probably reflect your state of being that day too!! Hilarious!

The hubbie and S will be there. Just look for 2 men. They won’t be hard to spot. My S is thin and quirky.

FutureMillie…Thanks for the heads up! GSOMTMom You are right on target…it is a permanent state of being for me!

redscorpion…D and I will keep our eyes open!

Thanks Frazzled. This is Hubbie’s first so he will be “deer in headlights”. I will be with them at FSU,UCF and Elon. I am doing Unifieds alone. Giddyup!

Definitely follow signs (or ask) to get to the “Old Town” or historic area. Lots of cute shops, and follow signs to park and walk to and around the pedestrian mall.
You won’t be sorry---- cute little places to eat and shop and people watch! Moms, hit up the boutique called Simply Charming and Kimberly’s.
Enjoy!

I think that I too will be wearing a tag that says “Hi, I’m frazzled.” I’ve been watching the forecast and right now they’re predicting snow for Saturday. UGH! I hope the forecast changes to clear and dry!

EEK!!
I hope I can drive in it…I will be going 15mph-so watch out for the clueless Floridian in the rental car…my apologies in advance.

Too Funny Frazzled!

S and I will be there. Driving in Friday night. I’m a fairly non-descript 5’2" blonde and son is 6’1" dark hair, lanky, but handsome :)

I think we should all wear name tags…Hi, I’m frazzled! Definitely goes with the territory!

Okay, so I checked weatherdotcom an hour ago and it looks clear for Saturday. WHEW!!!

Did you all get the schedule for the day? I had to call for it.

Yes, we got the schedule…but also an e-mail saying S’s audition form wasn’t on file…odd. E-mail said to click on Audition Link, which takes you to their website, which leads you to Decision Desk…which leads you to uploading another Pre-Screen…not an audition form.

I’ve e-mailed twice and called today…waiting to hear back from M. Cullers regarding this…hopefully this will not be an issue.

I know it is a bit confusing, but you go on the “audition link” to decision desk and click on the Shenandoah registration form. It seems very similar to the prescreen, but you don’t upload videos…just the headshot resume and audition pieces that he will be singing. I had emailed to ask the very same question. I am sure she will get back to you to confirm this.

Will be hitting the road in a few hours. Am I packed?? Uh Uh! Look for a tallish lady with either a brightly colored or loudly patterned coat! :)

I will keep my eyes open…we got here by noon, already checked in and walked around “old town”. It was so warm and sunny, I am fine in just a sweater. Hope it is this nice tomorrow!
