*January 2010 SAT Thread*

will the test easier???

Well the SAT is a standardized test so the difficulty between each SAT should not vary. But If the difficulty vary s then the curves will adjusted accordingly.

so… DH is a book with all the vocabs that were present in SAT tests??

I was just wondering what kind of book it was cuz it sounds effective from reading all the replies above :D

btw, how is it different from Barron’s 3500 vocab?
(difficulty, usefulness, format etc.)

2days left for Janurary 23rd testing!
Good luck everybody!!

I’m so screwed for the essay.

omg this is so nerve wracking… ahhhhh!

3 days to the SAT and I finally got my exam ticket in email!

DH has only less than 200 words. In its sequel there are about the same number of words. so that’s why it is called the “direct” hits. also it talks about where the words come from, give examples from contemporary culture. kind of cute.

your name has so many ooooo s in it. :D

3 DAYS.

So nervous, so nervous, so nervous. I just really won’t want to do “poorly” my first time. But I guess that’s what repeats and score choice or for. :/

I’m freaking out now…my scores on practice tests are all like 200 points below what I got on the PSAT. Bleurgh.

Okay, guys. Pessimism over. We’re all just going to breeeathe. WE’LL ALL KICK SAT BUTT :D

you guys are gay. chill the **** out. it’s a test and it most likely won’t have any type of impact on your life or who you are as a person. i’m not saying this because i didn’t study and i think im going to do poorly, for I am expecting to do well after months of tutoring. The one thing that distinguishes me from most of you, however, is the fact that I do not give a **** about this test and realize that way too much emphasis is put on it.

If it won’t have any impact on your life, why are you taking it?

Question: What is the procedure for closings due to inclement weather?
The weatherman’s forecasting freezing rain or snow for Saturday and I have quite a ride to my SAT location. Has this happened to anyone?

@shmluza

haha thanks
you’re name is fun to pronounce

@bayhawk

nope, never happened to me.
I’ve only experienced stand-by testing :P

last second studying —> stress!

it’s tomorrow…!

good luck everyone! you’ll do great don’t stress :)

Good luck to everyone

I have to be at school by 7:45 AM so…

thats 10 hours and 15 minutes from now

Don’t worry too much

You guys will all be smiling when you come out of the test center

can’t wait till it’s done. I hope i score above 1650

Ya I’m taking it for the first time as a Junior. Not worried at all because of the fact that I have time to take it again and most importantly score choice.

^ Why not worry, when you can just take it once and never have to take it again.

holy ****ing crap… it’s tomorrow

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.
