A Few Answers:

x=.5 and angles are 35 degrees and 42 degrees: 1.57462

Cost of photograph question (can’t be too careful): f(5) + g(other number)

|x-4|

11/29

2.5

x^2 - 9x + 14 (i think)

34.11 (diagonal of Rhombus. I’m very unsure about this one because I forgot which diagonal it is supposed to be)

Eight teams (7+6+5+4+3+2+1=28) (Also unsure of this because I forgot if teams were supposed to be playing against each other more than once).

f(x)-1

-1<y<3

y=1 (Matrix Question)

8.246 for the altitude of the triangle (((side/2)^2 + (height)^2)^(1/2))

x^3 for the increasing function one f(b)>f(a) and b>a

function shifts to the right and intersects the origin

sec^2(x)

And that’s about it for now. Please challenge anything you think is wrong.

uuuh yeah i think it is x^2 + y^2 < 13. you’re right. now i’m not sure what i put either…because i remember even plugging in numbers and checking and it was right. ahh my head hurts

yes it should be 13 not root 13…btw, what did u get for the question about the ball in the sky defined by a function (one of the last ones). it was like how many seconds after the ball reaches its max height will it be 20 ft high? was it 1 second? And what was ur answer for the polar coordinates question? (not just the letter but the actual answer)

for 9 it was g(x) + 1 i think…

yup, but plz answer my questions two posts above?

i put one second but i omitted the polar one cause im stupid and didn’t see that question wahh :(

Actual answer was (1, and then something here where both cosx and sinx were negative).

Apu, I think for 2., F(5) + G(20), not sure.

Can you remind me of question 4 and 5?

8 teams is right dude, don’t worry about it :P

Do you guys remember one where the period of a function is given, and they ask when the function will be zero? I think I put 100 but I really didn’t even think about it, I don’t even remember the graph, so I’m quite unsure about this one.

As for question 50, I was just about to answer but the proctor said to put the pencils down. Just graph the function ;)

Lol, my bad. It was g(x) + 1.

austraboy… i don’t even remember that one uh oh

i put 1 as the answer to the periodic question and im pretty sure about it…

wait are you talking about the same question i’m talking about? if so, then good i put that too

For 4 & 5:

Random Graph

x/2y-x = 10. y/2x-y=?

If the period one was the weird graph that looked like the nose of some cone, i think the period was 7, meaning f(100) = f(100%7) = f(2). I think f(2)=1, f(0)=some value, and f(1) = 1 as well.

it was like f(100 or something ) = 1, when given a graph of a graph with period 7ish…

okay there was one about medicine dosage…was the answer something like 18.2? i think it was B. and also, there was another question about money and percentage…i think i put 3.325% or something like that

I remember putting both of those answers (18.2 and 3.325).

3.73% was correct

YAYYYYY  dude i cant wait till scores come out…

I got 1 also for the period. I remember getting a or .5 for the last one and x^2-9x+10…
How were u supposed to do b>a problem?

I seem to have forgotten the period question completely then. If I recall properly, it asked to find the value of the function at x=100? I totally forgot now, I just thought that at x=100, the function would be equal to 0, since it has a period of like 6, and at x=10 it was 0. This is just from what I remember - I’m probably just being delusional :P

Was there only one percentage for that problem <4 and >3? I think there was 3%, (some number )%, and then 4.something %.
