@augustuscaesar27 I agree with you. I did all the Khan Academy tests and scored well around 36~37 but this time the questions gave me some trouble. Many answers took me long to think which one is better.
@kjhnbgfvdcrftgyh I got “Deformed” and there was one at the end “biofuel”,“combustion”,“microgravity”, how did you guys choose? Also there was one that made me think for awhile: “—that with”, or “such that with”…
I did a ton of the math no-calc practice test and finished all the questions with time left over with 1-2 wrong because of careless mistakes… on this test I literally guessed on at least 6.
The math no-calc section imo was more similar to what you would see in the test-prep books/what I would get from my tutor, the stuff that’s “harder than the real test but there might be 1-2 questions like this”
I’m mad at myself for not preparing more, but I felt very comfortable with this section when I was using the official practice tests.
I thought the calc math was fine, I left 2 blank. I’m guessing that the two math sections will balance each other out, and the curve will be normal to good. (1-2 wrong= -10, 3= -20). I’m hoping <10 wrong= >/=700.
@DreamComeTrue99 i put “microgravity” and “such that”
was “alternated” one of the answer choices for that “deformed” question or am i thinking of something else
I feel like “deformed” is correct because it says the droplet went out of shape… I put “microgravity” for that one too. I feel like I did wrong on the “such that” one, but during the test I felt “such that” sounded not ok to me…
@kjhnbgfvdcrftgyh I chose —that with because I felt I saw that sentence structure on an article or something…
@DreamComeTrue99 hey u never know maybe ur right with the “that with” one idk
but was “alternated” an answer choice for the “deformed” one or is that something else
I don’t remember so well. I think it was in the deformed choice.
Did you guys put mocking or informal?
Can you be more specific which passage? Do you remember all the choices? I forgot which one I put…
informal
and did u guys put “armed with these facts” or “mindful of this setback”
mindful of this setback
yea same but a lot of people said armed with these facts
was “that with” an answer choice?
for the such that question
I took time thinking about that. “Armed with these facts” doesn’t connect so well because they consulted those researchers at NASA that they didn’t really try out their own. “Armed” sounds that they are going to make a breakthrough on their own… Also “these” sounds a little vague. What is these exactly refering to? I remember there was only one single obstacle…
Sorry, it was “----that with”
