January SAT/March SAT

On the Collegeboard site it says that the scores for the January 27, 2007 SAT will be available online on Febuary 15 but the late registration for the March SAT is on Febuary 14.

I was hoping to take the SAT in January and March, because those are the dates that seem the least stressful (The MAY sat is during the AP Exam week(s) and the JUNE sat is during Exam Week.. :/ )

It's seems logical that I should wait until I get my scores and then decide whether I want to retake the SAT or not, but is there a way I can sign up for the March SAT and then cancel or something, if I get a score that I'm happy with for the January SAT?

Sorry if my wording is confusing.

i get it, but have you really prepared for the Jan SAT. I was thinking the same thing but my mom said just stick with March. So to make up for just taking it once and a potential low score, i am going to try the ACTs along with the SAT. Good Thing: you choose which score to send.

Personally, I love the January date because my exams end on Thursday, January 18th, and I get the following Friday and Monday off before another semester of school, which shouldn't be too stressful in the begginning. Maybe I'm overthinking it...eh.
