A couple questions:

So if i were to pick jester as my top choice, what are my chances of getting a remodeled floor? Is there any way to request this?

The beds in Jester: all pull-outs? And is this comfortable AT ALL? And if you were to put a mattress topper or something on it, would you not be able to close it...? I dont like the sound of this.

Last questions: how accurate are the 360 degree representations on the website for each dorm?

Thanks in advance!

Your chances are very low. I’m not entirely sure, but I believe there’s only two or three renovated floors, and they’re all in Jester East. I have a friend who’s a freshman and ended up getting one, but I think he just got really lucky. You can’t request one, either.

All of the non-renovated rooms have pull-out beds. I brought a mattress topper with me when I first moved in, but I wasn’t able to push it in, so I ended up having to take it off. The beds aren’t particularly comfortable, but they aren’t horrible, either.

Pretty accurate, I think. At least for Jester.

My son stayed in a renovated room in Jester East during orientation. His room this semester ended up being in Jester West. He said he liked the West one better!
