Jesus, the Cornell finaid form were due the fifteenth!?

I just found out that Cornell wanted the CSS, the FAFSA and all the rest it postmarked and submitted by March 15th... Damn, I had no idea. I need to get this stuff done immediately. I know Penn has a later deadline (4/15) Do you think I'll be penalized? There is no way I'd be able to attend without FA...

I wish I could answer that but I'm in the same boat at another school.

How are you not on top of these things? One of the schools I applied to needed the FAFSA and CSS PROFILE and Tax Returns by March the 2nd. Guess what I did? Did mine and my parent's tax returns right when we got our w2s and got everything in on time.

At any rate, yes you probably will be penalized. Half of life consists of following directions.

Thanks for being a sweetheart.

I called Cornell - a few days won't make a difference.

if you can fill those out in less than a day congratulations

I can't go ANYWHERE unless I get some financial support. One of the first things I did was organize a spreadsheet of due dates (for applications and financial aid docs).

I turned mine in a month late. Can't speak for other schools but Cornell's FA office doesn't give a crap as long as they get it eventually. They're usually so backlogged that they probably wouldn't even process yours for another month so what's an extra few days?
