<p>hi - when I visited I saw the great recreation facility but I like to jog outdoors - are there good running paths or loops in and around the campus? Is it safe to jog off campus?</p>
<p>My D runs with a dormmate who lives across the hall. They run in the daylight. I do not know if there is a specific path, etc, but they have no problem running and feel safe in the daylight. It is also very safe to walk along Jefferson, Park, College etc so I am sure it is also safe to run.</p>
<p>My D2 also runs and bikes around campus, through not always during the day. I suggest checking with the FSU PD for any concerns about trails. Generally, downtown and campus are quite safe. I’ve personally run for years in and around Tallahassee in the pre-dawn hours and my biggest concern was dogs on the back (rural) roads.</p>
<p>One thing Tallahassee has that runners don’t see in most of Florida is hills. If you like doing hill work, you’ll especially enjoy running in Tallahassee.</p>
<p>The hills are great in TLH.</p>
