If you had only $10 (or 8 EUR, or Y1,096, or Rs 458, etc.) to plan a days adventure, where would you go, what would you do, and who would you take with you?

And this has no word limit... jesus I dont know what they want. I have a day to write this. Please help!

is that enough to write an essay on? i did some research, and jhu puts essays/character quality WAY above sat/gpa... and i'm writing crap about buying some guitar strings and playing at the beach or mountain biking... man, its sad.

"And this has no word limit... jesus I dont know what they want. I have a day to write this. Please help!"

There's a pretty big problem in this statement. Don't know what it is? I'll narrow it down for you: "I dont know what they want."

An essay is not about what they want, it's about what YOU want to convey about yourself. Do you think you're compassionate? Write the essay about spending the money saving orphaned handicapped albino babies. Think you're funny? Write an essay about starting a comedy tour? Think you're creative? Talk about spending the money on clay and making the newest piece of 'modern art' to add to the Louvre's collection. You get the drift.

Don't make it exactly what they want to hear, that will **** them off.

ahah its not fair, no one shuold tell u what to write on. first off, you shouldnt have procrastinated and waited till TODAY to write it (although i heard the deadline is now jan 15). second, its YOUR essay, even if others help you on here, its still up to you to write something. also, hendri is right, JHU does place alot more emphasis on character, essay, recs and stuff more than gpa and test scores. so in other words, if u screw up the essay...ahah hope u got straight As and 1600 sat. LOL! goodluck!
