My daughter rec’d a call from admissions on Tuesday asking if she was interested in staying on the waitlist and if there were any changes to her CV. She rec’d an email from JHU yesterday and was admitted. Good luck to all on the waitlist.

Since JHU is a private school should in -state vs OOS really apply? International vs domestic is probably a better metric
Waitlist admissions may be different, but JHU is not obligated to favor Maryland residents so I don’t think it would play a factor.
Oh okay I see! Since her d got a call, I assume that her d is a domestic applicant then. Do you think the first wave is over now?
We are in Florida. This was her dream school so we are thrilled. Financials were included in the email. We were given until Sunday to accept so I would imagine the second wave would start then.

Hi was accepted off the waitlist into Krieger on Thursday, given three days to respond. Also received a call on Tuesday asking if I was still interested. Told them yes and that I had emailed my regional counselor with two letters updating my application. If it means anything, which I don’t think it does, I’m in-state. Toured yesterday and met two other girls accepted off the waitlist and on the same timeline for response.

For those who got the call, can you tell me (Personal message) the number? I’m an international student, and I missed two calls from the U.S. late April. I’m worried now

Was accepted to Krieger last Thursday as well, and also received a call on Tuesday. I missed the call though, but they left me a message, so I doubt it was Hopkins @Proliarix. Also, I’m from Florida.
I assume that means they went through their first wave of waitlist applicants all at once, if there is still room, they’ll go into a second wave
Waiting on the waitlist. Not sure where I would go if I got in to Johns Hopkins though (accepted to Notre Dame!)
Based on what I’m hearing, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that @Darude. Sounds like school is nearly done with the waitlist.
Hopes this helps anyone. Daughter was given a call this Wednesday May 11th, asking if she was still interested. She missed the call, so left two voicemails later that same day, expressing her interest. Yesterday, she was taken off the waitlist !
