I heard this from someone on a different thread. This person said he/she learned it from their counselor, who received an email. I obviously didn’t want this to be true, but was wondering if anyone had heard something similar?
yeah, there’s an article about it.

is this reliable? I asked my counselor and he said he didn’t hear anything of the sort
Unfortunately…
In case you want to compare to Penn’s ED stats.

No one here cares about Penn. This is a Duke forum.
CC Community, make sure you never mention any school but Duke on this forum because @Jwest22 may not approve.
I mean, think about it. Why would you post about Penn’s ED numbers on a Duke forum? Because it’s ranked highly? Because it’s Ivy League? What benefit does it give to folks affiliated with or concerned about Duke admissions?
Think about it, because people might be curious whether the spike in ED applications is specific to Duke or something that is happening at other highly selective schools.
I don’t suffer fools, so this will be my last response to you. Please stop embarrassing Duke.
I’ve been an alumni interviewer since I’ve graduated and thus, have been nothing but an asset to Duke contrary to the manipulative picture you’re trying to paint. Please leave this forum. Your ad-hominem attacks and irrelevant information on another University is not welcome here.
Welp I got differed so that’s that I guess lol @turnandrake @Jwest22
@“WVOR357$” this is just the beginning of the process. Keep your head up, and best wishes
