June 12th ACT, Official Reading Thread

^^ I think that one was the last question.

father and daughter were “artists”

and I think the first thing that happenned was the B B dude starting the event.

With the one about the two in the shop, was that an except question?
Because they were shy around each other, aware of her presence, and were working on the store. So, it was the other answer-whatever that was.

With the WaterFire or whatever, did one question revolve around making it a more pedestrian friendly place?

i think so

1) It’s short.
2) Construction/revitalization plans came first, even before the presentation (which came midway through the project, according to the passage). I thought it was the presentation too, until I checked.

Yes it was about making it a more pedestrian place. And no it didn’t say anywhere in the passage that they were shy about eachother.

Same here bud. I put “hold on people”.

^^^^^ Yes, I remember putting down an answer to do with something pedestrian-friendly.

i must have missed something in this thread. what was short?

I believe short was the answer for one of those “exception” questions.

What was the question that had “shy around eachother” because no where in the passage did it mention they were shy around eachother

Just a question, but do the kids in Rhode Island get a different form of the test? I would think they would have an unfair advantage knowing about the WaterFire events.

UVA,

It said they smiled shyly at each other in one of the paragraphs. I took that as shy. The answer was “questions that whatever her name was asked them”. She never asked them any questions.

^ Right, that’s what I had.

It did mention that about the people in the store. It said they looked shyly occasionally or something. I only remember a question with EXCEPT and that was one of the choices, but not the answer.

wait are you talking about geddyleerulez? I’m confused, can you try to remember what the question was and was it an except question?

“2) Construction/revitalization plans came first, even before the presentation (which came midway through the project, according to the passage). I thought it was the presentation too, until I checked.”

Ugh. Youre kidding me right? =/

There goes my 36 on this section for sure.

I doubt that, I put the presentation came first. They weren’t planning on revitalizing the area until the presentation, then they created the construction plans.

UVA

The question about the shy thing was an except question. One of the choices was like “she asked the couple awkward questions”. She never asked them any questions, so that answer was the correct one.

I think I’m right. Can anyone else confirm?

^ I confirm that.
