@ UVA: yes, both were possible answers.

I put it had a hold on people after going back to the passage and looking at the details.

Also, what was the asnwer to what did the girl think of her fathers stories?

I put the answer about it having a hold on people also.

@WongTongTong: do you remember the answer choices? I vaguely remember the question…

She was surprised he had the talent? Is that what you mean, Wong?

There was also her favorite stories of his were the ones about India.

Now I remember! I believe that it was like xavier said, something about his concealed talent of storytelling.

Yeah, I feel like I got 10/10 on the humanities one. I like sections where the answer is in the text and isn’t inferred .

Was it C? I chose C, It was the only question i didnt get to read.

^^ Definitely agree with you about that. Unfortunately, I guess I spent too much time on the first sections and didn’t get through the prairie dog one I had to guess on about three of them.

^The prairie dog one was the 2nd easiest, I feel bad that you didn’t get to that one before. I didn’t like the fire one at all.

Because of the lack of time, I decided I wouldn’t read the stories and that I would just skim them. I think I spent the most time on the fire one because I had to refer back to the text so many times. It would probably be more beneficial if I actually read them next time…

DARN IT!!! If the awnser wasn’t transported people to another time, I just lost my 36! NO!!!

“prarie dogs react to danger depending on situation”

Can anyone else weigh in to this question? I swear that the answer was the certain type of prairie dog surrounded the perimeter and kept watch. I distinctly remember reading that part.

Also, there was a question regarding the Northern lights one I think. It said which one of these words would not fit… they were like imperfect, partial, short, and I forgot the other one. I said short. Hard to pick between partial and short.

^^ Sorry. At least you can still get a 35. I, on the other hand, am just hoping for a 30.

Also, in the waterfire passage, which happened first?

Rivers diverted?

no rivers didn’t divert they made the plan for the whole thing. Rivers diverted because they had to go around the mail station
it was something like they made a plan or something along that line

i thought it had something to do with a project being worked on

I said the thing was presented first.

Was it the one about creating the company?

i cant recall anything about a company

there was something about a newspaper calling the festival one of the most popular art festival

I think it was referring to his time spent as the average worker (indicative of the general trends at the time).

That first passage KILLED me.
