June 14th ACT ****************************

I put keep watch over as well. I think it was referring to the “moonbows” or whatever. You can behold them but it wouldn’t make sense to keep watch over them.

i also put keep watch over. That was a really tricky one.

one of the beach questions:
The narrator mentions all of the following except:
-The color of the sand
-the sound of the fishermen
-the shape of a certain cloud
-something else

I’m pretty sure that nothing was said about the color of the sand

keep watch over is it… behold fits (to behold the moonbow i think.. that fits anyway).. and the other ones i knocked out instantly.. keeping watch over something like that just doesnt fit.. so the answer is keep watch over as the least acceptable one

I think Color of Sand was right

Anyone remember the problem in the Math section:

2x/(x^2 - 25) + 2x/(5 - x)

I think I got something like -2x^2 - 8/(x^2 - 25). I remember it involved a 2 and 8.

ohno it was a least acceptable one im so dumb
well hopefully thats the only one wrong in english

wasn’t it like ocean foam?

darn, i put behold and for the football player ? which was like blah blah with players - football players whom blah blah.
I didnt know if the with made the football players an object of the preposition so it would be whom or did the dash make the football players the subject?

kmz - yeah got same thing i think it was C

i got something similar with -2 and 8. it was choice b or c. i think b.

Peytoncline-

Yeah I put S,U,T also.. it made the most sense.. although I’ve never taken physics =\ Good guess?

kMz: That’s what i put too

here’s how I feel about this act:

English – 35-36.. it was pretty easy for me
Math – 35-36.. again.. pretty easy for me
Reading – anywhere between a 30-34.. depends on how i did on the prose one and one or two questions from the harriet tubman one
Science – either a 31 or a 33.. like i usually get

i hope i can keep my same composite score — 34

i did this one just to see if i could bring my writing up from a 7 (i messed up on the last one.. great composite.. not so hot essay)

so i’m hoping for a 34 // 9+ or a 33 // 10+

if i get the latter, i’ll send that in with my 34 // 7 and tell the college that i had a bad day on the 34 with my essay and that i can do them

it talked about the ocean foam

i put the color of the sand and something else.. i saw the color of the clouds but not the sand.. so i put that as my answer

and for the math problem, kMz, that’s right

wat i put the one with the 10 on top b/c i plugged in 1 for x and that answer can closest to what i got

No the seafoam was described.. something about how it lined the ocean shores or something.. the color of the sand wasnt ever described..

dude.

(almost all) colleges don’t superscore the act.

It’s 1 complete test date or nothing, ya kno that?

oh. darn. ahh sorry i guess i didn’t read that part carefully enough.

there was one quesiton… it was #63 lol… you had to choose which would be LEAST appropriate in the sentence… the answer choices were
a. fostering
b. upgrading
c. improving
d. stimulating

i put b but was unsure…
