June 14th ACT ****************************

So.....what did all of you guys think?? Was it hard? Opinions?

way easier than April's

English- easy
Math- really easy
Reading- it was OK, the first prompt was pretty stupid the remaining one were ok
Science- Most of it was easy
Writing- Easy prompt

What was everyone's test booklet number? Mine was 66C or something.

The first reading passage with Khiem... I want to choke whoever wrote that stupid passage!!!

every one had 66C

do sunday test takers get the same test?

No Sunday test takers get a different test.

english: was easy
math:was fairly easy, but the last couple of questions likked me
reading:medium, i was alittle lost
science:fairly easy
i believe i got E32,M28 or 29, R 25 or 26, S28 or 29
so a compostie of about 28 or 29!

i don't like physics but overall i thought it was a-ok

English: Easy, 35 or 36
Reading: Easy, 35 or 36
Math: Always hard for me!
Science: It was harder than expected.
Writing: 12, Easy

Possible Score: 28, 29 if I'm lucky, 30 if a miracle happens!

English: Easy
Math: Didn't have time to do a few, but fairly easy
Reading: The first passage was awful, but I still think I did fairly well
Science: Easy
Writing: Fairly easy I think

I know the physics stuff on science killed me! I should have skipped the 3 questions and the bio one at the end more carefully. Now I'm ending up with a crappy physics section and a rushed bio one.

Anyway
English-Hopefully easy, there were like 2 that I was unsure about.
Math- The first 40 was easy as usual, but the last 20 ehh....there were a couple that made me wonder.
Reading-I was late from break, but I think I did mostly OK, couple questions one the sea passage were iffy.
Essay: I actually didn't like it. Possibly because I realized it was easier to make up realistic sounding bs to the opposing opinion than to the opinion I picked.

i agree with sugar's description of the science section...we're not allowed to post answers right??? cuz i dont wanna know but if u post i will be totally tempted =D and...when do we get our scores/get to use the hack ^_^

Thought everything was easy...until science which I got completely destroyed.

^agreed with that too! :p

ACT essay = graded like the SAT essay rite?

I thought the science was okay. I love physics, but I hate bio, so I got a mix of both.

English 34-36 (Only 2 I was unsure about)
Math 36 (Easy)
Reading 27 (Timing screwed me up and the first passage made me wanna kill myself)
Science 30-33

English- very easy, I don't think I missed any. ACT has a new trick now though, the 'Info mentioned other place in the passage' thing.

Math- a lot of the problems were longggg. I skipped a lot and went back but I think overall I did decently.

Reading- UGH at that first passage. It was so detailed that I could barely get a feel for the bigger picture. The rest were super easy though.

Science- Did anyone think it was somewhat hard? For the identify what stage the cell was in, I thought the science portion was only supposed to be stuff presented in the passages and tables. I got it but it kind of tripped me up at first because I couldn't find where it came from! haha. by the time i got to the bag thing I was so test fatigued, I'm unsure of how I did there.

Essay- super easy

I thought that reading and english were really easy. I know I missed one for sure on math. As for science, I'm really unsure of how I did. I thought it was pretty tough. Essay=easy.

um...i think it's agreed by the vast majority that some long, difficult problems on math were disturbing...I ended up guessing on like 4 and last time i got a 33 on math...which was last year. sadness

dude on Science, on the fighting scientists one, I've done one almost exactly the same. Oh yeah profiction of reading slaughtered me

yeah i've definitely seen the global warming one before with the same arguments and everything.
