About this curve everyone is trying to predict...

Isn't the curve predicted BEFORE the test is administered? Or is it determined once everyone takes it?

it's after

echelon is right about the beaker&bag questions

Why would cutting terminal buds make the plant bushier

Because the plant hormones, called auxins, which support vertical plant growth and inhibit horizontal plant growth, are released from the terminal buds. If the plant doesn't produce auxins, nothing is telling the tips to stop growing. Result: really bushy plant.

Was the one with the protein synthesis diagram trna or mrna?

That was mRNA coming out the nucleus. I can't remember if that was a question, but if it referred to that thing coming out...that was mRNA.

Ok i compiled a list of questions (including ecology, not Molecular), and we have 45/80 questions:

What part of the flower makes up the fruit: ovary

Fever – Person with high white blood cell count

What happens in menstrual cycle: endometrium is shed

Featherlike structure and burrs (dandelion one): increasing seed dispersal

Hawaii diperthia – Hotspot

Mice population increased b/c: abundance of food for mice and less predation.

Snake population decreased b/c: Less mice (food scarcity)

Which decreases blood pressure: Alcohol

Somatic cell has 8 so gamete has: 8

Clots blood capillary: 1

Low oxygen: 1 and 5

ABCdef: Crossing over

All of these reduce temperature except: vigorously exercising

Tape worm is an example of: paratism

Nitrogen conversion: Putting it into the atmosphere

Albino plant taking nutrition from regular plant: paratism

Which one is a reptile: turtle

Maples, wolves, rabbits: temperate deciduous forest

Building blocks of DNA: Nucleotides

Homologous structure: Flipper/foreleg

Last question in Ecology: Graph going downward

Which one is not homeostasis: Secondary sex characteristics

One with three diagrams in 1 picture (in order): ribosome, mRNA, and polypeptide.

Species takes over a resources and other does not have access to it: interspecific competition

Insectide question: Predators who eat insects will die (biomagnification)

Which makes plant bushier: cutting terminal buds

Nice list good job.

Doesn't the gamete have 4?

If 8 was the somatic then gamete has 4

yeah gamete has 4
cuz somatic has 4pairs of homologous chromosomes and then after anaphase the two cells have 4 chromosomes each nd then the chromatids seperate leaving still only 4 chromosomes in each sperm cell.

another way you can see it is a sperm has 4 and an egg has 4 once then combine they have 8...

...i may just be an idiot tho...lack of sleep><

oops type error - gamate has 8

Fruit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Accessory Fruit - where the edible part is not generated by the ovary"

Peaches fall under that. I think I put "modified petals" or something like that.

Protein digestion is completed here: Stomach and small intestine, not protein :P

Did it say peach I cant remember

I think 11 is 1 only

"Ribose, phosphate, and nitrogen base: nucleotide"

This isn't RNA?

It said "one" for each, so it has to be a nucleotide...which I didn't notice when I put the choice as "RNA" x_X

"Did it say peach I cant remember"

Yes, but I'm sure my answer is wrong...
