How about the problem with the KCL solution?

what was that again?

It's a I, II, III type of question

What would happen to the equilibrium in KCL solution?

A. It's saturated
B. stirring puts more solid back to solution
c. cooling puts more solid back to solution

Yep, "precipitate" only is right. You wouldn't want to use filtration for the other two...

Kscnoko, I put it's saturated.

KCL problem-- its saturated only

Does anyone remember about the CE questions?

i don't remember any specifics, but i do remember that i was extremely displeased with determining whether to put CE or not on a few...
i think i used around 5 CEs total

i got a couple of T T CE in a row (like three) and i dont remember putting any F F though there may have been one

I remember something about Helium molecules temp for the first statement and TE=PE+KE for the second,,, I put TT for that.

for the filter paper one, i said only a precipitate. I think that was choice II, but i am not sure

I put some TT, but not CE. When I reread the statement, I was like Statement II is definitely not the reason for Statement I.

PR has 10 omitted as 780.

ya i agree van_sant, i had like 3 TTCE in the same area early on.. then my last question, i answered F F that was the only one for me.

i think i put CE for that too. i remember thinking KE increases with temp, so if TE=PE+KE....

^^^^ Seconded. (the one about Helium)

What was the answer for the question in which the girl was preparing a 1L NaCl solution and it asked what the most accurate instrument should be used? I thought it was a buret but then those things can't exactly hold 1L of solution in them.

There is also a CE question about a reaction.

Some solid--Solid+Gas

They ask you what would happen if you increase the pressure? Is that TTCE?

yeah i definitely remember that. and being confused about CE. i don't think i put it, although looking back it would be stupid to have put it

im fairly certain that one was volumetric flask

So it's not CE?
