what did u guys put for the pictures of lab equipment, it said "Used for titrations" i put Buret. Next was "used for measuring exact volumes" and i put graduate cylinder, then the last, to see perciptates, i put test tubes.

I put TTCE but I almost put TF. The reason being was they used wording about lessening the pressure, which would be F.

That's what I put

I put TTCE but I almost put TF. The reason being was they used wording about lessening the pressure, which would be F.

Can you eloborate on that?

I also put TTCE. I don't think there should be any other reason that the molecules would be faster since everything else is held constant.

kscnoko, that was a poorly timed response.
yeah, the solid -> solid + gas is totally CE

what was that device with a sort of bubble in the middle called?

A pipet, haha.

is PR's scoring accurate? and can someone told me what they put for my previous post.. the lab equipment drawings, titrations, measuring volumes, and precipitations.

titration -> burette
volumetric -> volumetric pipette
precip -> test tube

i'd have put grad cylinder also, but the cb practice had a question about being best for measuring precise amounts of liquid and it was pipette

also the burette had a pretty error if i remember correctly about the percent error one...

Can there be precipitation in a test tube?

its a pipette? dont pipettes only have one skinny plastic thing at the end, not two?

oh okay thanks i messed up on the measuring volumes

sushant269, the curve is different for every test unfortunately... it's a matter of how well EVERYONE did, so unless two particular tests are equally "hard" or "easy", then it's impossible to determine score curve.
PR's probably gonna give you a pretty good estimate though

thisdude45, I think the second part of that was mixing two substances together? Are you sure it's volumetric pipette and not something else?

ok thanks. i HOPE i get a 700+

^^Really?? So I will have a shot at 750+? With 10 omitted and 2-3 wrong..

I don't think it's pippete because it says "exact volume" The picture doesn't show the pippet having measure on it.

um, for making an accurate solution measured with molarity you'd ideally get a volumetric flask, weigh out proper amount of moles, and fill to line.
my previous post was about the pictures

kscnoko,
i'm pretty sure it's pipette, because i thought the same thing w/ the official cb test but then the answer was pipette. there were very similar questions on the official to the one today. the similarities were even more resounding in bio.

yeah i agree with Kscnoko- i dont see how you can measure an exact volume with a pipette. and btw, im a little concerned for my state of being- did no one else see the bubble thing in the exact middle with two skinny tubes protruding from it?
