June 2009 SAT Math

last grid in was the triangle with answer 65

i don’t remember a 5000. i remember a 3600. do you remember the question?

it was 10.01 i think if that’s the same question.

ruthless - for the decimal i put 10.01

ok good
i used 1.0 as starting number and go that
i didnt read whole question and was stuck for 2 min and then realized one of them asked only move once and othr asked twice
lol, always read whole question

and whats the 3600 for?

indeed, like the one with the tuition. I even saw total and completely disregarded it, I thought that by plugging in the 21 it was already the total >_< lol

anyone remember that graph with f(x)=f(-3) or something
i put y=-1 b/c when looking at the picture at -3 y was -3

was the one with drawing 30 numbers out of 50 just one had 2 b odd?

30 numbers is one had to be odd
graph is 2 because on the graph, it was -1 at f(2)

if you pick 30 numbers randomly from 1-50 then you have 20 left
25 of the numbers are odd, so numeral I had to be true
10 of the numbers are multiples of 5, so II did not have to be true
14 of the numbers are less than 15, so III did not have to be true

the txt message one was .5m - 95
I remember putting x=7 for one of the f(x) ones

Wait… so what was the answer? I put -1 but it seemed too simple…

it asked where else the graph was -1 (at -3, the graph showed -1)
the correct answer is 2

there was no 3600? or was there?

the 25% one was 500 E right?

yes 500 sounds right

3600 maybe on experimental?

i don’t remember getting 3600 but I remember a 500

Wow, I thought the fish one was the hardest on the whole test.
Can anyone explain?

And I missed 2 other SILLY mistakes. Really annoyed right now. My score will drop in Math. Good thing Georgetown doesn’t score choice. :(

Darrnn I’m down one.

Can you explain one more time how you get 2 though?

The first section of grid-in math destroyed me. I don’t why, but I froze…I omitted around eight. The other two sections I felt incredibly confident on though. I had enough time to review all the questions after I finished. And now after looking over this thread, I realized I shouldn’t have changed one of my answers. Ugh! I dislike SAT math.

what was the one with the line 1/4x + a number and i asks you for a point on the xy plane that is greater or something?

What will my math score be with just one grid-in wrong and everything else correct?
