^ i believe another choice was something like “to watch a wide variety of animals”

Was another choice something along the lines of “to get amused”?

^ yes, it was something like “get some education but amusement as well”

Does anyone remember if there was another “a” word in the “acolyte” question?
I remember picking the shorter of the two “a” words.

^ There was “approbation”, even though that did not belong to the “acolyte” question. The “acolyte” question was about this black man who diligently followed his mentors; the “approbation” question was the one about the senator who disgraced himself.

I put that… Are we sure that the “savvy” choice was the right answer?

@user- adjudicate was aother choice on the acolyte question.

It was about, more specifically, Jesse Jackson. His mentors considered him an acolyte.

Also, what were the other choices for the “impression vs reality” question?
And what were other choices for the domineering question…

@ goldysocks
yea i believe it was adjudicate. thx

Can anyone confirm if acolyte was A?

acolyte was C i believe, definitely not A

Well, I know I chose acolyte but I marked B on the scantron. Not sure whether or not I made a mistake…

i remember choosing acolyte too… lol

Does anyone remember any other answer choices for the following? Please help :(

“account” = explained
presents an issue and then references specific studies
author’s impression with reality
Inability to empathize with her father
Wanted to increase her affection towards her relatives
savvy about nature of zoos
The dichotomy is hard to resolve with experiments

Here are some:

-“account”= explanation, report
-presents an issue then references specific studies, describes a debate then offers a compromise
-impression with reality, emphasize uniqueness of his experience
-dichotomy is hard to resolve with experiments, reconciled

Can someone please remind me of the dichotomy question? I am trying hard to remember which one I put. Under what context was the answer obtained?

The passage mentioned at the beginning a dichotomy concerning whether high performance in activities comes from talent or hard work. The question asked what the passage as a whole said about the dichotomy, or something like that. The answer was that the passage (or the experiments) was inconclusive (it did not solve the dichotomy; both sides of the argument were presented but there was no clear prevailing side).

Or maybe I have it wrong. It was certainly something about there being no clear answer to the dichotomy. It was either that the tests were inconclusive or that the dichotomy was hard to resolve with experiments. Pretty much the same thing

Thanks crazybandit. Could you remind me of the other choices? What did the “reconcile” choice exactly say? I have almost no recollection of this question, except that the “experiments” choice and the “reconcile” choice both sound familiar. I hope I chose the right one. I’ve been restless over this SAT and finding out what I got ahead of time so I don’t have to take it again later.

Well the next test date is October. You have a lot of time to decide whether you want to retake. I don’t remember the other choices.
