June 2010 Math

yRif - no, 6.
and i have no idea which one was experimental.

6 pairs for phone
temp was 4.5
g(0) = 6

wrong phone numbers i got 5

@ yRif,
I got 6.

@all4game,
The one with the sphere.

How did you get 7, I got 6.

c/b: 1/3
Chairs: 22
Triangle/square thing: 3sqrt2
20 people: I and II
90%/10%: 81
3 circles (AB=): 1
Some circumference thing: 10pi
Another circumference thing: 32pi
Slope of one side is m: -m
Temperature: 4.5
Four digit number: 9970
Phone: 6

If it helps on the March Sat I missed two questions in math and got a 740.

@golfer111: F is on one side of the diameter, A is 5 units in, C is 3 units from A, D is 2 units from C, D is 2 units from E, so the diameter is 12. The midpoint would be 6 units along, which is one away from A, which is 5.

bria4n
i guess i didnt have that one then.

Relatively happy with this…a raw score of 50 or 51 would be a low to mid 700, right?

@candynobad373,
I didn’t think 5 was a choice. I thought 6 was the absolute lowest.

(n+2)(n+3)/2 i think that was the answer to the last question of one of the sections. the sum of first positive integers

volume rectangle solid was 192

Candy, I agree on 4.5. You just used the slope formula to find the slope AND y-intercept of the 1st line, and apply that to the value of 625. I believe the slope was -.012 and the y-intercept was 12.

7!(total number)/6!(number of adjacent numbers) = 7, how did you guys get six?

oh yeah bri1a4n i did put 6. 5 was for the 6 chips (4 Red 2 green with 2 together) it was 5 right?

@Yrif11: did you factor in that the last and first numbers are not adjacent and cannot be interchanged? There are 7 numbers, so there are 6 sets of adjacent numbers.

Two responses for me, how did you get 1 for the three circles question? and for the phone number errors, there were six digits, so like 123456, and there can be 5 pairs, so isnt the answer five? you have, 12, 23, 34, 45, 56. I assume you cant have 1 and 6 as a pair, so the answer has to be five (?)
