the answer to the vikings’ settlement question was north america.
although the vikings DID settle in north america, they soon abandoned the settlements

Vikings was definitely North America. By the time the question gave, those settlements were gone and therefore not “LASTING.”

Sub-Saharan Africa wasn’t the answer. Many of them lived sedentary lives raising yams and stuff. Historians aren’t aware of the population of North America before Columbus, but they were almost all nomads.

For French and Russian, I said they wanted to spread their ideas to other countries (or did spread them). Napoleon was a direct result of the French Revolution, and he invaded most of Europe and tried to spread French enlightenment ideals. Russia, with communism, is obvious.

neolithic- different duties but similar importance, or something like that
confucian- something with bearing sons.
and as for the viking one, I said north america too. don’t remember them staying here too long, and i do recall them in ireland.
update: according to wiki they occupied/raided parts of ireland for almost 400 years. thats pretty long lasting

I just thought of another one- the ordering of Fourth Crusade, rule of Justinian, and the Ottoman’s capture of Constantinople… What was the correct order?

also, would someone mind updating the compiled list please? thanks! :)

that one was easy- justinian was the person responsible for making byzantium , then the fourth crusade was in 1204 and was in constantinople, then the ottomans were dominant in the 1400’s or so so that one was last.
