I was wondering if anyone else felt that the June SAT writing section was a little downgraded. I was just looking at my scores and I noticed that I only got 5 multiple choice wrong and a 10 on the essay and I received a 700. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with this score, but I was looking at my Kaplan SAT book and a raw score like this would receive a 750. So I don't know...what does everyone think?

It was ridiculously easy, which means the curve was harsh(er) than those for other tests. I had an 11 essay but I missed 3MC and left 1 blank and ended up with a 730. Kaplan is also an easier prep book. I checked PR and BB to make sure. I had 740 CR 710 M (missed 4 ) and 730 W. fingers crossed for October.

Yeah they must have graded it harder, because I dropped from a 780 in January to a 660 in June! I think I missed 3 MC and I must have just blown the essay.

2 wrong and I got a 710…

Yeah thanks, I guess the curve was really tough on this one. Was just making sure it wasn’t just me

yeah… when i took it i thought it was really easy and I got a 700 on my practice tests for writing but my score dropped to a 500… the curve was so bad ugh it totally killed my sat score

The curve was harsher, but to be fair the questions and essay were quite easy. I scored an 11 essay and missed 1 MC (possibly…) and got a 780.

Would you rather it be harder with an easier curve?
