June 2012 World History SAT II

Most* Copied* Just reemembered there were two questions for the USSR cartoon I think the answer for the other quest was Eastern European countires

wasn’t 59) indian military officers? not sure though

78) Akbar and unifying India
79) difference between the two sects of Buddhism
80) who did the african nations of the swahili trade w/

I don’t know might be, I left that one blank in the test

I put British educated officials. I thought Ram Mohan Roy and all those men were British educated. They were Indian by birth but had been educated in british schools. I totally may be wrong though.

i dont think british educated officials was a choice, i thought it was educated british professionals

78) Swahili Trade was with cities in Indian coas
st
81) Middle class women were house wives due to industrialization
82) Hieroglyphics and simplified language-less symbols to be remembered
83) what occured between 800-600 BCE (I think all i know is that there was one about converting massive people to Buddhism) The answer was changes in philosophy and thought

lol 12 more guys :D

quote with king of Kongo and Portugal- slave trade?

I didn’t think it was slave trade, but I don’t remember the options. All I know is Portugal converted the Kongoese rulers, right?

I thought it was slave trade. :/

Ibn Khaldun quote questions

One was like How does Ibn Khaldun describe history? I said repeating patterns.

I forgot the other question but it was something to do about invading nations building off conquered ideas. I think the answer was Mongols and China

83) what occured between 800-600 BCE? @thingschange I’m certain that question was describing what happened in Eurasia during that time period. I am fairly certain that the answer was resurgence of pastoral nomadism. After all, that area was swarming with the lot of them.

oh well … i put religion for that one

wait was that question with ibd Khaldun history with progress or repeating patterns?

@crash3300 Daoism, Buddhism, Legalism, and Confucianism were in that time period and the Greek philosophers were there also. Isn’t that a change in philosophy, religion, and thought?

But the question asked about that time period in Eurasia. That’s a specific region that excludes China and Greece. There weren’t any Classical Civilizations there developing new cultural ideas. Pastoral Nomads emerged to be prevalent in that region.

I agree with thingschange… cuz thats what i put xD

And I don’t really know about the Ibn Khaldun question.

@crash [Eurasia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Eurasia - Wikipedia)

Eurasia is all of Europe and Asia combined

@crash3300
Eurasia means Europe and Asia, and definitely includes China and Greece. Are you sure you aren’t thinking about Central Asia?

fr the one with the Europeans and imperialism, did you put the reason was naval technology or unification under one crown?
