I realize this is not relevant whatsoever, but I just got my transcript back and I GOT A 3.96 FOR THE SEMESTER!!! I realize that’s nothing new to all of you guys, but I’ve never been a typical straight-A student so this is really an accomplishment for me.

Haha, on a more related note, what was the “Dehli, India.” question specifically? I forget it!

I hope I got a 36 on this section… I need that 36 to make up for Reading and Science :/

@liv

The answer was omit. I’m fairly confident that the last option for that question was omit, because I specifically remember putting it after scanning the passage and realizing that the information underlined was redundant.

Didn’t you guys think that the extra information in regards to the different patient positions like they sit on the horses sideways, while others lay prone, etc was somewhat extraneous and detracted from the main point of the passage?

I thought it was necessary to illustrate the terms “the various positions” mentioned in the next paragraph. I would be more distracted trying to figure out what the various positions were than reading a longer description of these positions. But then again, that is just me.

I just felt that in saying that the patients were in “many different positions” you stated the same thing as you would if you listed many different specific types of positions.

The term “many different positions” is extremely vague. I believed, upon reading the line without looking at the question, that it needed to be revised or removed because of how confusing it is, and the only option present was revision.

I just didn’t feel the sentence required any specific information. The positions were not limited to the ones listed in the addition, they were just a few examples. The next sentence stated that the patient used the position best suited for his/her treatment, which could hypothetically require the patient to stand on his or her head while riding. I think being general is a benefit in this case as it includes any position on the horse rather than limiting the sentence to only include a few.

However, I am not by any means sure of the answer.

Anyone know when we get our score online (for free) ?

^scores will be online (probably) in 16 days for free.

@letsgoeat scores begin appearing online on June 27th. If you don’t hear by then, you should hear by Friday, July 1st

Anyone think a -1 will be a 36? I would be so happy…

@lacesea Doubtful. I thought this section was easier than April’s, and -1 in April = 35

@nina- it may be so, but I’ve noticed that for those type of questions, the answer is just precisely what the question asks for. Even if “the most specific” one doesn’t sound right (it often doesn’t), it’s the right answer.

and I found it easy so idk the curve. I hope it’s an easy curve to account for my other sections. So far -0, but it’s really easy to make silly mistakes in this section.

i’m pretty sure i got -1
IS IT POSSIBLE THIS IS A 36!?!?!?

What was the exact question for the “of course” one? And what was the very last question about the placement of the sentence about how the brother doesn’t prefer to use dull or brown colors?

Could you elaborate on the “of course” one?

for the placement of the dull or brown colors, I put the last paragraph I THINK spot 3 (I don’t remember, but I’m sure it’s the last paragraph)

General question here,

in the Calcutta passage, did you guys get THREE (3) “no change” in a row at any point? I got three (3) no changes in a row, in two locations of that passage. I looked over that section over and over yet i couldn’t find any mistakes. Can anyone confirm if at least 3 in a row were “no change” for that passage?

Also, the color blind artist passage…
Was “fantasy and dreams” correct (no change was the available option).

i got an absurd amount of no changes and at one point i got 5 a/e’s in a row

anyone else agree, i think it was somewhere in the middle of the 75 questions, maybe like in the 40’s
