June ACT Math Section

What was the answer for the line segment? One of the answer choices were cannot be determined for the information?

@stanford it could definitely be determined. Your talking about the one where it said if AB is 1 and BC is 4 than what is the ratio of AB to AC?

The ratio would be 1:5

are you talking about the one with 10 as a part of a bigger triangle? i totally guessed on that one.

The one with 10 was 13.7 you used tangents and said tan 30 = (x)/(x+10)

how do you do LCD question?

oh. i think i might’ve just guessed and got that one right ahaha.

The last 5 or 6 questions were all a blur for me. I don’t remember which answer choices I selected but I know that I solved a few of them correctly

What was the answer for the seats? Like 108 in a room the row has less.

what was the one with the g(f(x))? it was a weird column setup.

@stanford it was 12

@bvfor it was -5

12 rows. 9 seats per row. it might be the other way around, but the answer was 12.

what about the amount of money spent at the party by people not wearing a costume?

I dont remember that question.

^$315. I used a system of equations and that is how it worked out, not sure if I’m right though.

315 is what I got

i got $315

The congruent triangles was SAS, and I’m pretty sure that was D.

this was definitely the hardest act i’ve taken. WHYYYY :|

I noticed that there were a lot of trick questions (#20-40)

I really hope I picked D for #59. I saw one that looked like SAS so I picked it. Were there other ones that also had SAS?
