50 answered, maybe 1 or two at the most wrong.

@collegebound9528: No offense, but is that really necessary when a large number of us are feeling a bit of post-test paranoria?

into oblivion, what was that question asking? the square root 3 and 2 one?

@chewydog-lol some people on this site feel the need to get into a **** measuring contest.
@abc-it said something like x^2+kx+c, the roots are sqrt2 and sqrt 3, find k.

26 answered only hahahaha I should have chosen to do the math 1 not 2. I actually do feel good about the ones I did do though, and it was much easier then the practice tests in the Barron book. I think the first problem I had was time, with alittle more time I might have gotten up to 35 answered, but then the rest I really did not know.

O well, Im not sending the scores to colleges anyway, only if I like them.

And whoever said that the beginning was easy, I agree. After the first 15 questions I felt soo good, then it got bad hahaha

the one reflected over the y axis, i said -l f(x)l…why is that wrong?

@IntoOblivion: It’s those types of people that I hope end up doing worse than they expected.

treehugga,

So the one about similar triangles was definitely tan y?

into oblivion, wasnt it find c? omg, im doing horrible

^It makes him feel good about himself. Doesn’t it, collegebound?

i got tan y also. I still dont understand the prime number question. Was it the “2 is a prime number” or “if k=7 it would equal 15 which isnt a prime number”?

@SccrScrub01 - It was “2 is a prime number”

@SccrScrub01 - It was “2 is a prime number”. The important thing to realize about this statement is it is saying every prime number can be written as 2k+1, not 2k+1 will always give a prime.

did anyone find it strange that there were two almost identical right cylinder questions back to back? one asking for radius and the other asking for height.

why is it not be 2(7) +1 = 15, which is not a prime

2 is a prime require more justification to disprove

In my opinion, when people try to measure their own intelligence or worth compared to that of another, it only shows how truly inadequate they are in those regions. I know of a kid in my grade who is a tested genius, yet he couldn’t score higher than a 1750 composite on the SAT.

SccrScrub01,

Yes, weird. I went over and over them to make sure I wasn’t missing something!

Ivycraze,

The statement was not that 2k+1 always equals a prime number, it was that every prime number can be expressed as 2k+1 (where k is an integer). Two is a prime number that can’t be expressed that way.

It’s the difference between “all odd numbers are prime” and “all prime numbers are odd.”

@Scrub: lol yeah those were two free-bees haha

Couple more questions:
cosx>cos2x AND tanx>sinx (It was a roman numeral question)

something like secx^2+tanx^2=1(might be mixing two questions here)
