does anyone remember the equation to the question about how many times the graph crossed the x axis…i remember some of it was like 7*3^-2x-1 or something like that…help me out!

what did u guys get for the regression question…was it 4.9?

^ I got one for that because the graph I got crossed it then formed and asymptote

i said 5.2…could that be right?

I put II only for the cox>cos2x one. II was definitely an answer and III was tempting but the values for the two equations for III were equal until about .06 when you graph it, resulting in a contradiction of the assertion. So it was just II

The regression was 4.9. The equation crossed the x axis 1 time (@gobled

SccrScrub01, I got 4.9 using my calculator. ^And I think I got II only, too.

does anyone remember the equation to the question about how many times the graph crossed the x axis…i remember some of it was like 7*3^-2x-1 or something like that…help me out!

@gobled

I think I got “One” for that

@gobled it was 1

thats what people are saying but when i put it into my calculator to find the limit when x approaches infinity it gave me 0…doesnt this mean that it is going to approach 0 forever but never actually touch it?

I think it was 4(3)^-2x+7x(3)^-2x…

gobled,

Yes, but it crosses the x-axis once before it approaches 0.

anyone remember that if tan@=k/2, what is sin@? i skipped that one…

@steven that one was D i think. It was the choice with K(sqrroot(4+k))

so far compiled:
“For the prime number one, I put the “2 is a prime number”” shouldn’t it be 2(7) +1 = 15, which is not a prime be right?
180 n^k question was 6. Prime factors of 180 are 2,2,3,3,5 so 6 occurs twice

F(x) = g(x)(x-2) +r was f(2)

Double of one root in the equation x^2 - 24x + c (c was 128 I think) -> 16 (the answer), other root was 8

Last question is III only, plane R does not intersect both other plans ONLY 1 or the other

and abou the one triangle and the other one with 3 times coord, is the area 3times ?

cortana, can you explain that one?

@stevenydc - k/root(4+k^2) or something. Draw a right triangle with one side “k” and one side “2”.

Also, the 3x coordinates would make it 9 times I believe

I got 9 times the area because I figure out the area of each and got 9 times the original for the seond.
