k, i got a 187 on a psat, next time i got a 211… 24 point difference in a year, so thats 240 points in a yr with no studying.

SATs i started with a 2030, 700m,630r,700w, and with studying brought my math and reading scores from 700 and 630 to 800,800. a 270 point jump, and i didnt have much wiggle room to begin with.

for math, i was just naturally good at that, so the advice i give u doesnt really apply to me. USE THE CALCULATOR FOR EVERYTHING. Check over your work if you have time. Learn some basic geometry/trig formulas. and go over the blue book/kaplains book to learn SAT math

for reading-i KNOW the blue book will help. after every test, go back over and look up every word you dont know, even if it wasnt the right answer. I did this, and after 4 test or so i was beginning to expand my vocabulary. the reading passages, you have to practice by reading lots of them to understand actually how to read them (their answers are kinda tricky unless you learn how to read them.)

for writting- i could have gotten an 800 with more studying, but i studied for the writting the first time around, knowing that my writting abilities were awful. kaplains book, i read it and worked on it extensively, and looked for the key words it told me to look for.

with that, you can move up a few hundred points per test easy
