(Junior- Decent Grades) What are my chances of getting into TAMU?

What are my chances of getting into Texas A&M?
Currently a junior in high school.

-Heart of the Team award Junior Year
-will be Captain senior year
-2 years of jv football (13 hours a week for 4 months each year)
-9 total AP classes taken in high school
-I still have not taken the SAT. I understand my SAT score will have to be VERY high.
-I plan on joining the Corps of Cadets if I'm accepted. Is there anything else I can possible -do to increase my acceptance chances?

Take ACT as well as SAT - some test better on ACT. You should start soon so you can take them again if you need to get higher scores.
Go visit campus, major college of choice,Satellite admission center, if there are any A&M high school camps/activities you can attend-do it. It is important to show A&M you are very interested in them. Visit the Corp - there is a special day for that, be there.

77% at A&M are top quarter of their class, and a lot of the other 23% are probably from non ranking high schools. I’d do everything I could to improve my rank if I were you.

just take the SAT and ACT and just apply like october or november, that way you have a good shot
