Junior: post your daily hours on hw

How many hours do you use on your hw? Are 4-5 hours too much?

yea about 4-5

Like 1, maybe 2. But I do as much homework as I can in school. I couldn't see myself working 5 hours a night on homework. There's so much other stuff to do. Don't get me wrong, I have a 4.0, and I go to a competitive public school, but I just never saw the merit in working 5 hours. I usually spend more time studying, so that when I do have a big assignment, it goes a lot faster.

1-2 hours on weekdays.

4-5 hours spread out across weekends in order to play "catchup"

Definitely depends on the day/what we're doing. My schedule is blocked, so I have eight classes, four a day, each an hour and a half...so I'll get about an hour of work per class for each class, but I include reading/studying in that and you have two days to do it, not to mention working on assignments in other classes. I definitely don't work five hours straight a night...unless there's an AP chem lab the next day or something, combined with other stuff.

Enjoy the free time you have, because even though it doesn't seem like it, you have a lot of free time.

I'm a senior now and my home-workload is about twice as much as it was last year. No matter what people say, senior year (at least the beginning, hopefully only the beginning) is harder than junior year.

Like... 0 - 1.

I'm in eighth grade. lol

I'd say about 3-4 hours. But like 2 hours is APUSH reading. And another hour is from American Lit H. So I hardly spend any time on any other class.

And when story deadlines approach for our newspaper, I spend maybe 1-2 hours a night writing.

Usually I sleep at ten every night like, no matter what (I have sports after school, and start homework around 6:30-7). Unless I have some huge project/test the next day. It's rare for me to stay up past 11 - I've done that maybe once or twice during high school.

actually its hasnt been taht hectful yet maybe liek two hours.. and a little more (4) on the weekend ... and i do all my hwk btw lols

hum.. it varies. But average is 4-5 hours i think. Sometimes 3 hours. It depends. Cuz sometimes, everything is due on one day then I have to finish everything. APUSH/APEL/APCHEM take up all my time .. so I try to do french and math in class .. or in the morning ..

I spend like maybe 2-3 hours a night. I do most of my homework on the weekend though. I also try to do as much in school as well because I tend to be less motivated when I get home.

when I was a junior, I never spent more than 2 a night, and rarely more than 1.

4-5 but when i get lazy it stretches to 6-7
my teachers go all out on us dishing assignments left and right to prepare us for ap's and stuff
its crazy but doable

3-4 hours including studying usually. sometimes more, sometimes less.

0 - 20. Frosh.

4-5 hours a night are you serious?! dude you gotta have a life outside of school and homework otherwise you're totally gonna blank out your senior year.

I don't know. I don't count.

4-5 hrs definitely ...get home 5ish...somedays around 6-8ish...then i work on hw and study until i realize i am staring at a page and nothing is getting absorbed....then i go to bed and get up in the morning like maybe 4:30 sometimes a little later and study for like an hourish and then go to school...ok goign to go study now...

well...i am a junior, and i am taking 4 APs: AP English, AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, and AP U.S. History, and i got a TON of homework...i get 4-5 hours of homework IF IM LUCKY!!..loll (i'm also in another advanced math class, pre-calculus accelerated, and spanish accelerated..basically do 12th grade stuff) but 4-5 hours..man i'd want that!! other than some nights where it's more than like 6 1/2 hours..lol

Why are you all doing this much work. I never did more than an hour on any night unless I had to write a paper. I did maybe 3-4 hours of work a week. Usually it was less than 2. It did help that I had Photo and could do most of my work then.
