Junior Year Scheduling

Hey, guys what's up? I was wondering if you could help me with my scheduling. This is what I was planning to take:

A.P. Bio
A.P. English
A.P. US History 1
Spanish 4J
Pre-Calc J
Physics J
Band
Gym

My school goes by a ranking of:
L: Below average
K: Average
J: Above Average
H: Honors
A.P: AP

I am still not decided on Physics and Pre-Calc, but I'm definitely not taking AP Spanish! Do you think it is better to get A+ in J classes, or B's in honors classes? Cause I'm pretty confident I can get solid A's in J classes, but I might get B's or low A's in honors classes. What do you think is better? I also might take Pre-Calc over the summer and go to AP Calc. Thanks to those that take the time to read and help!

Ok, B’s don’t kill you, but generally you go for the most challenging schedule that YOU can handle. Precalc over the summer is a solid option to go into Calc, as I do that to go into Math HL 2. Does your school do numeric grades for letters or just letter grades on transcripts?

Numeric grades

AP U.S History 1 as in you learn half of the stuff and then the rest in another year? Sorry i don’t know this, my school does a complete full year course. >< If it’s not full year course, then it should be alright.

Go for the hard courses. Colleges will be able to see that even though you aced the J classes, there were Honors classes available. So why not go for it? (It will appear that you try to challenge yourself instead of taking an easier way out)

You get to just study Pre-Calc during the summer? LUCKY. If my school let me, I would have just skipped Alg 2, Geometry, and Pre Calc altogether…-grumbles-

Well you go to a place like Rutgers Prep, Newark Academy, and take a course over the summer. If you pass the final exam there, you get credits for the subject and they send it to your school.
Yea, AP History goes from junior year to senior year.

Take the H classes

I vote H. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to handle it! You could probably get all A’s in those classes if you try enough.

do H…it probably won’t be any different and, if any, only slightly.
mang, your school is weird, why don’t they just do regular, honors & AP? rofl.
