I'm In Tehth Grade Not 11th As You Wanted , But My Scores Stayed Pretty Much The Same, 210/2130. Should I Take Sat's Again ?

psat - 166

sat - 1910

230/2290

CR 76 M 74 W 80
CR 800 M 760 W 730

No prep except regular schoolwork...

190/2110

CR 59 M 66 W 65
CR 660 M 760 W 690

Definitely had mono last october. Retook the SAT this morning, hopefully CR and W broke 700

230/2290

bombed the essay, retook, probably gained at least 70 pts

k thx
gg

lol im hoping i gained around 70 in the retake too

221/2210 perfect firt, but the sections worked out weird for me

222/2090

re-took SAT I on June 3

199/1930; I went into the SAT pretty much cold, without even paying attention to the answers I was getting wrong on practice tests. Definitely an awful idea. Hoping for 21-2200+ next time.

215-2110

Cr: 75 M: 69 W: 71
Cr: 700 M: 680 W: 730

I don't get the point of this thread. is it to find a correlation between psat scores and sat scores? or is it to give people a chance to brag

It's trying to find the correlation between PSAT & SAT scores.

should be about the same if you take the psat and then the sats immediately after (assuming you can write coherently so that you don't mess up the writing section). most of it is based on individual situations, anyway. and if you study, the score gets higher. simple

226/2360

Cr 78/800
M 80/800
W 68/760

221/2210
Cr 73/750
m 77/710
w 71/750

are you guys seriously complaining about SAT scores above 2100?? and thinking about retaking when you have perfectly good scores?? what do you guys do to get good scores?? is it just reading the prep books?help.....i want to try applying to columbia

203/2110. Writing sucks for both though, 1480 composite.

"should be about the same if you take the psat and then the sats immediately after "

Should be but isn't necessarily. My kiddo went from 800 PSAT writing to 690 on the SAT. He's actually a prime example of how much range of error there really is in the scores. He got an 800 on the math the first time he took the PSAT, a 740 the second. The second time he took the PSATs he got the 800 in writing. When he took the SATs he got the 800 in CR. Now if he could just get all those 800s on one test!

213/2110 Going to retake on October 14th

score variations (up to 100 points) are natural; people are not perfect. 4 mistakes on the math section = 90 points. many people who get 700+ on a section of the sat might know 100% of the material, but may have misread some questions and made a few mistakes. i got an 800 on math practice test and 710 on the math sat, (4 wrong) and im pretty sure i didnt get any stupider!
