I was just wondering which SOAR workshop everyone was planning on attending? I'm going for the 2 day workshop on June 30th - July 1st!

im going one day on june 21st

Nice, not possible for me though because my graduation ceremony is on June 20th and there is no way I’m going to be able to leave right after the ceremony to go to California and have my orientation the next day.

graduation that late? ouch

i graduate may 19th

Try and go to the earliest workshop that you guys can attend so that you can pick first from the available classes.

Yeah that is a late graduation, mine’s June 4th.

I’m going to try and go June 28th soar date

Well technically my last day of classes is June 8th but then I get a week off before my actual graduation ceremony… Weird organization of things but that’s how they set it up for us ahaha

weird stuff.

we start school august 12th though, so i guess its a trade off we get out may 19th. last day of actual class is the 18th. rest of the high school gets out may 26th.

gotta love tanked California public school system

whys it say instruction starts 29th
but on another link it says fall starts 22nd?

It’s supposed to be people move in to dorms 27th, then start classes 29th. Pretty short time frame to get settled in if you ask me.

Haha I graduate June 17th and get out June 9th! I think I’m going to do the June 30th-July 1st orientation too.

The July 11th-12th one…well thats my birthday (7-11) and I’m not sure it’d be good to be stuck with a bunch of people I don’t know. Then the 22nd is my sisters wedding.

I’m curious as to why we have to pay for orientation when we’re already paying for school…

@Brailey: FINALLY, someone else who’s doing the same orientation as me! :)

@brailey- I think SOAR is part of tuition. I don’t know why it’s a separate payment though. On the bright side, orientation at CSULB costs much less than orientations at UCs and other private colleges.

I’m going to the June 21st soar :)

Woot! Just signed up for SOAR, I can finally stop worrying about it ahaha

i signed up like at 9 XD

june 21st. annnd i got into international house WOOT

You guys should meet up at SOAR. ;)

I signed up last night for the 6/30-7/1 orientation! We should all meet up so that we’re not alone :D

@Brailey and Power of One: That is a freaking EPIC idea! :)

I just think its MUCH less awkward then not “knowing” anyone and walking around like a loner because NONE of my friends are going to LB :
