i studied..but i blanked out on my comp sci test..and pretty sure i failed..this wud bring my high A to a low B...how do you guys get over these things?.. its been making me sad for a while now ._. i did the exact same thing with a bio test a week ago..but my teacher drops my lowest grade

ive been blanking out a lot this year during tests is it because i have been studying too much and have been sleeping less?

I just accidentally missed the deadline for my very first college philosophy paper (10% of my grade). **** happens. Life goes on. Go buy some Chunky Monkey, and for the love of god get some sleep.

**** happens. Just let the first time be your lesson.

Sleeping is good for information retention. It’s when your brain organizes things. When you try to drown yourself in the information you’re trying to memorize, everything just blurs.

Just remember, the brain needs about 24 hours for memory retention. Cramming all night (assuming you did) isn’t as helpful as you’d think.

I find cramming right before the test is handed out is very useful. For my science tests, I type outlines of vocabulary words, main ideas, gas laws, and what’s on the test.

I’ve failed before. And unlike most of the other AP kids at my school, I won’t flip a b!tch if I fail again. Been there, done that. Just make sure it doesn’t become a habit.

One failed quiz might seem like a big deal, but if you put it into perspective against the entire semester or even your entire high school career, one blemish here and there is insignificant. Pick yourself up and move on.
