But it says that's to completely withdraw from the entire process; I don't think it has anything to do with their decision.

When did you guys start getting this email. Columbia hasn't sent me shhhhiittt...hope this doesn't mean I am rejected..

Guys, calm down. My source at the undergrad Admissions office just told me:

"The same e-mail went to all applicants regardless of the decision."

So, there's nothing to read into here. Sit tight for another week, everyone

This is 100% correct. I've heard the same info. Sit tight.

^ never mind I just got my email....

!!!!!!!! so excited just to even see their name pop up in my inbox - the undulating ocean of bottomless screams has really begun to well up within me now

...............................EIGHT...............................DAYS...........................

How is everyone keeping busy?

I only wish that the Ivy's weren't (seemingly) all releasing on the same day and I hope that their Accepted Student weekends aren't all the same - I think that's kind of unfair.

guys they are just reminding you that decisions are close and u can check your stuff on March 31st...they do online notifications to save money....!!!

Did anyone get a error message titled "invalid access" after clicking on the link to receive decision?

yeah , we all did, probably because they're not up yet and they just didn't set it up yet.

Ok. Thanks.

Did columbia decide to go green this year or have they done it in the past? I was just wondering, it has nothing to do with decisions.

^ AnnaSmith did you received that email finally??

I haven't gotten that email yet! :(
Not in spam either.

Stop fretting people honestly. This is just their way of saying how we'll get decision. Who knows, maybe they won't send snail mail rejection letters but that has no bearing on this random, mass email.

LaVieEnChocolat: Yeah, lol, I finally did. It didn't show up until around 7:00 but it said 4:21 p.m. I think my email's weird. Haha, did you?!?

lol, I am the classic over-analyzer and got scared after reading to into that email, but CC has for once calmed me down. Thank gosh even people who got likely letters got this=)

i'm reading it and reading it and i don't get that email!!! what's the purpose of sending that email? notify us that they are green?? why some people will still be notify by mail and others not? .. i'm sorry i don't get it!

They are just making the date official....
I mean....
It's not really that complicated......
And if you don't get it, it doesn't matter....

^yes, it matter because i did not get that email, and i want to know why? even if it's just to make it official i need to know why i don't have it!!(i always received every emails schools sent me until now!)

The paranoia is ridiculous, calm down everyone you sound like schizos everyone has gotten/will get this letter.
And yea it keeps giving me an error too when i try to change my password, does anyone remember making a password? i feel like i used solely my Columbia ID for everything.

OMG I did not get an email?
does this mean certain rejection?!?!?!?!

I am SO nervous, someone please answer!
