Just got my letter - REJECTED!

I got rejected too................got it this evening......signed by Jason.C.L

just got it too.. does this mean no chance at all for the other ivyes i applied to since cornell is supposed to be the easiest to get in to?

so only international applicants have gotten decisions so far?

go48, looks like you have a mindset like monkeyman. No, it DOES NOT.

readytoleavehs: Well, had them sent. It would depend on the postal service in each country, since they're posting not emailing decisions to internationals. So, because my postal service sucks, I probably won't get my decision until April 1st anyway...

cant you just check your decision online

nick04: good luck, i'm sure it will be good news!

To ynos and all the others who got rejected - I feel for you all, since I'm sure that I'll be receiving my thin letter next week. Please remember that there are many other great colleges out there and several will come through for you. Also, Cornell does accept transfer students, if going there is your dream....

Thanks, readytoleavehs :)

sempitern555: No, because via some quirk, us internationals are getting mailed the decisions, but our online decisions are put up the same time as domestics...

this is crazy! It seems there isn't a single international student who got accepted? Which does not bode well for me, although I'm an international living in the states so I'll get it when everyone else gets theirs. Is it extra hard to get into Cornell if you are an international or something?

I think it's generally hard for internationals to get in anywhere.

if you are international then you are screwed... unfortunately I am one :(

you guys are scaring me!
hmm...I still haven't received any mail from cornell...
probably because I live in S. Korea

anyway...good luck everyone!

got the same letter a 2 days ago…. Rejected. Am an international students from the far east. Stats: 1400, 750/710/610, was kinda expected

are all these rejection sent in a regular mail? Doesn't that indicates that Cornell has made decisions long long before?

Well they have to accept some internationals... right? :( :( runs around the room in circles

yeah regular mail... well it says 'priority mail' on the envelope.

bluedaisy1234: Yes, and if you're an international applying for financial aid it's near impossible - nearly all colleges aren't needs blind (the only one's I know that are would be Yale, Harvard, and Williams).

chirag, you're scaring the sh** out of me!
where do you live in? Japan? Hong Kong?

hong kong... got the same letter 2 days ago. where u from?
